Born This Way was created by Melissa Walsh, RN/BSN. Mel attended Regis College to get her Associates Degree in Nursing, going on to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing an UMASS Boston. Mel has over 13 years of nursing experience. As a visiting nurse for over a decade, Mel fell in love with patient care. She rose through the ranks, becoming the Director or Nursing at a Home Care agency before deciding to shift gears in 2019. She entered the world of medical aesthetics to combine her passion for patient care and love for all things beauty. Mel completed her certification for both neurotoxins and dermal fillers through the Audrey Rose Institute of Medical Aesthetics and is fully insured. Mel is also IV certified through Boston College. Mel continues to attend trainings and conferences on the latest and greatest information in aesthetic medicine to ensure you are getting the most up to date treatments and techniques to optimize your results!
